With the failure of the March 2024 school tax levy, the School Board recognized that our original proposal was not what our Coldwater community could support. We listened to your concerns and put together a new proposal that incorporates your feedback.
We are dedicated to securing funding for the continued success and improvement of our school system and facilities. The restructured tax levy allows us to financially position our school to be able to address the most urgent needs of Coldwater Schools:
Building Infrastructure
Aging fleet of buses and service vehicles
Technology
Instructional Necessities
Capital
We believe in the importance of providing the best possible education and experience for our students. To accomplish this, we must pass this levy for our essential infrastructure and operating expenses. Failure to do so will create significant financial challenges for our schools. The risk is too great to wait any longer.
We're asking you to take a closer look to understand why the passage of this levy can't wait any longer. Your involvement and support are crucial to the future of Coldwater Schools - join us in securing the success of our school!
